Exams and assessments are an important part of ensuring students have developed the knowledge and skills they need to be successful.

We know that students can experience stress around assessments and it’s important to know where to go if you need support.

  • Do you need support with your wellbeing? Book an appointment with a Wellbeing Advisor.

  • Do you need support with your mental health? Book an appointment with a Mental health practitioner.

  • Do you want to improve your academic performance? Take a look at ‘Getting academic support’.

  • Do you need reasonable adjustments for your exam? Book an appointment with the Disability Service.

  • Do you need to find out details about when your exams are taking place? Contact the Registry team.

  • Has a personal circumstance had a negative impact on your performance? Read our advice on mitigating circumstances.

The University library called the Hive run a campaign called Study Happy to support students during assessments. This includes free fruit and drinks as well as a programme of free events such as yoga and study groups. The library has also released a Study Happy video with advice for students completing assessments.
