What is the V-Record?
The V-Record is a volunteering recognition system which allows us to reward students for the fantastic work that they do in the local community, with the SU, or at the University. Volunteering that you complete for the Worcester Award can also be recognised through the V-Record and vice versa.
Every time you hit an award, you get your own volunteering certificate! On top of that, any student who achieves a 50 hour award or higher will have it recorded on their Academic Degree Transcript
Stand out from the crowd!
How do I start?
You can start logging hours on your online V-Record right now! It's easy to record all the volunteering hours you undertake each academic year. There's also an optional section that allows you to reflect on what skills you're learning along the way.
All you need to do is fill in the online record and your hours are stored safely on our system. Make sure you leave staff contact details so that we can verify your hours in June.
If you're not sure whether you can log your volunteering hours on the V-Record, have a look at the 'Are You Volunteering' page to find out.
What certificates are available?
The Students' Union offers recognition certificates at five stages for any student completing the V-Record
20 Hour Award - Recognition of Volunteering
50 Hour Award - Achievement in Volunteering
100 Hour Award - Merit in Volunteering
200 Hour Award - Distinction in Volunteering
300 Hour Award - Excellence in Volunteering
