Elections:

It’s officially Elections month!

Each year, you elect three Officers to represent you and the student voice, to lead and develop our SU. There are three Officer roles: SU President, Vice President Education and Vice President Student Activities and this year’s candidates have already been announced.

Each of this year’s candidates have a get to know me video and manifesto, which you can view here and we’ll be holding social media takeovers on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th.

Voting opens on Tuesday 7th March at 2:15pm and closes on Friday 10th March at 2:15pm. All of our students are eligible to vote and it’s really important that you have a say in who becomes the face of your SU for the next academic year. Your Officers act as a representative for the student voice and have a huge impact on your overall University experience, so don’t miss out on the opportunity to have your say.

You can vote online here or in person at one of our polling booths at St John’s Main Reception and City Campus Reception.

Still unsure on who to vote for after reading the manifestos? Come along to Question Time on Tuesday 7th and meet the candidates in person! Question time is being held in The Hangar from 1:15pm to 2:15pm and provides the perfect opportunity to get to know this year’s candidates, find out what they stand for and why you should vote for them.

We’re also going to be holding a quiet campaigning hour Thursday 9th March in EEG024 from 1:15pm-2:15pm, where you can meet our candidates in person in a more personal and relaxed environment.
