If you’re looking to join a club this year, make sure its WORCSNOW! We started off as a small group of friends with a common interest in snow sports, but over the years have grown considerably and this year is looking MEGA!
Being in not only England, but the Midlands, snow is hard to come by...so we offer day trips to the SnowDome (an indoor ski slope in Tamworth) for our members to either brush up on their skills or take lessons to learn the sport we love. Keep your eyes on the social media pages for updates!
Last year we were able to organise and host our very first Winter Ball! It was a roaring success and we're planning to repeat it this year...only bigger and better! It's a great event to dress up, get together with friends, win some prizes and raise some money for charity all at the same time! Keep an eye on our social media channels for updates in Semester 1.
Our biggest event of the academic year is the SKI TRIP, we are currently in the process of planning this and will have more information for you very soon! From apres on the slopes, to themed nights out with thousands of other uni students, all abilities are welcome to make your mark on the fresh powder snow.
