You’re months into uni, made some good friends and are beginning to feel comfortable in your new accommodation. However, something feels off and tensions are rising. What about next year’s accommodation…?

Stop that thought!

Tenancy agreements are legally binding documents, which means that once you’ve signed one, it’s incredibly difficult to get out of it. You may have heard rumours about how little student accommodation there is in Worcester, or how all the best spots get taken early but, that’s far from the truth.

There is no shortage of student housing in Worcester and despite claims, you will be able to find accommodation regardless of when you begin your search.

At the SU, we’re here to support you during this time and offer a range of services which aim to make the moving process streamlined and stress-free. Our Student Pad website launches in January and is a property search tool which lists all the available student houses with accredited landlords in Worcester.

Our Help and Advice team also offer a free contracting checking service, which can help bring you up to speed on your rights and responsibilities as a tenant and catch out any unfair terms. You can find out more about their contract checking service and book an appointment, here.
