What is the society all about?
The university has a flourishing history department which requires support and enthusiasm on the student level, this can be inspired and directed by a society dedicated to the subject. We hope to offer first, second and third year history students or anyone with an affinity for history, the opportunity to engage in a range of activities. For example, debates, quiz and game nights, guest lecturers, society trips, and themed nights out. Ultimately, we decided to form this history society to give students with an interest in history the best possible way to congregate and socialise together.
