Men's Football

Men’s football is the largest sports club at the University of Worcester. We operate with over 80 members and currently enter 3 competitive teams into the regional Midlands BUCS league. Alongside this, we also provide the opportunity to play recreational football outside of BUCS. We strongly believe that UOWMFC offers the best opportunity to make the most of university and sports life.

UOWMFC aims to promote the strengths of each individual through the development of talent and teamwork. Within both our performance and recreational set-up, we have a team of dedicated UEFA and FA-qualified coaches with a wealth of experience. Uniquely to Men’s Football at UOW, each team 1-3 has their own coach, committed to the development of each player, their team and the club. Furthermore, our performance teams have access to not only this coaching but also personalised Strength and Conditioning programs, and ice baths, and each team in the society is equipped with a Sports Therapist. Together with playing, we offer each player the opportunity to meet new people and develop personal, professional and working relationships!
