The Nursing Society is Back - Come and Join Us!
Calling all student nurses and associates! 🎉 The Nursing Society has officially been adopted by a new committee, and we’re excited to relaunch it with fresh ideas, new events, and lots of opportunities to get involved.
University life can be busy and challenging, especially when you’re balancing placements, shifts, and assignments. The Nursing Society is here to bring students together, offer support, and create a fun, friendly community where everyone feels welcome.
What’s it all about?
The society is run by nursing students, for nursing students. It’s a space to meet new people, share experiences, and support each other through every stage of training.
We’ve got plenty planned, including:
- Social events and meet-ups
- Study sessions and revision support
- Guest speakers from different areas of healthcare
- Wellbeing and self-care activities
- Fundraising and volunteering opportunities
- Networking to help build your confidence and CV
Whether you’re looking to make friends, get extra academic support, or just take a break and have some fun, there’s something here for you.
Why get involved?
Training to be a nurse isn’t always easy – but it’s so much better when you’ve got a strong support network around you. Joining the society is a great way to:
- Connect with students across all years
- Feel supported and understood
- Build confidence and friendships
- Develop new skills
- Enjoy your time at university a little more!
How to join:
It’s simple! Sign up through the Student Union website and follow our social media pages to keep up with events and announcements.
We can’t wait to welcome you and help bring the Nursing Society back to life 💙
