Recycling is essential for reducing waste, conserving natural resources, and minimising the environmental impact of landfills.
By recycling, we give materials a second life, reducing the need for raw materials and decreasing energy consumption.

The University of Worcester has set a target in their Smart Action Plan to reduce waste by installing various recycling points across campus. Additionally, there is a dedicated recycling centre located at the Hines Building on St John’s campus. View the map.

Improve your knowledge by learning about common recycling myths
For Recycle Week, we host a pop-up stall where we test students' knowledge on how to recycle various items. We also partner with Severn Waste to deliver an informative recycling session, helping students become more informed and empowered in their recycling efforts.
