RAG (Raise and Give)

Raise and Give (RAG)

RAG stands for 'Raising and Giving' and that's exactly what we do. RAG is run by Student Committee who spends time organising fundraising events and other activities to raise money for nominated Charities.

Each year Student Council chooses a number of nominated charities that the Students' Union will support through the activities of the RAG (Raise and Give) group, led by a student committee.

How to Get Involved

Applications for the 2017/18 Academic Year are now closed, check back next April for another opporutunity to be a part of the Committee. Alternatively you can become a volunteer for RAG and help the Committee with fundraising throughout the year.

Can I raise for other charities?

While the Students' Union will focus its' fundraising efforts on the nominated charities, we will support all students in their fundraising efforts. We can loan you buckets, promote your events on social media, host your events in the Pear Tree or provide space to have a stand. We can also provide expert advice on fundraising legally and help you complete street collection permits etc. We will also bank the money you raise and make sure it gets paid to the right charity. Anything you raise will also be added to the RAG total. For more information please email  e.york@worc.ac.uk

Worcester Students' Union Raise and Give (RAG)  works to facilitate student fundraising at the University of Worcester. Every year we have nominated local charity that we will fundraise for throughout the year and who will be the recipient of all proceeds raised during RAG week. (RAG also supports students and student groups to raise for other charities during the year)
