Men’s football is the largest sports club at the University of Worcester. We operate with over 150 members and currently enter 5 competitive teams into the regional Midlands BUCS league. Alongside this, we also provide the opportunity to play recreational football outside of BUCS. We strongly believe that UOWMFC offers the best opportunity to make the most of university and sports life.

UOWMFC aims to promote the strengths of each individual through the development of talent and teamwork. Within both our performance and recreational set up, we have a team of dedicated UEFA and FA qualified coaches with wealth’s of experience. Uniquely to Men’s Football at UOW, each team 1-5 has their own coach, committed to the development of each player, their team and the club. Furthermore, our performance teams have access to not only this coaching but also personalised Strength and Conditioning programs, Ice baths, and each team in the society is equip with a Sports Therapist. Together with playing, we offer each player the opportunity to meet new people and develop personal, professional and working relationships!

At UOWMFC we pride ourselves on our culture, ambition and passion.

We are always looking for new members, whether you play performance or recreational, there is always a place to get you playing and developing. If you are a new or existing student at UOW, and want to be part of the club, please get in contact via our socials linked below, or email james.beardsore@worc.ac.uk.
