The University of Worcester Women's Football Club offers opportunities to all who are interested. Whether you play football regularly, at a high level, or just want to try something new, there is a spot for you on our team. There are options to either play regularly throughout the year (including matches), only train with us, or even just be a social member, if you just want to socialise and meet people at different events throughout the year!

Last season was difficult but it brought us together and closer as a team. We didn't have separate teams, we all trained together throughout the year. This year (COVID-19 permitting) we would like to have two teams entered into competitive British University College Sport (BUCS) Leagues and one team entered into a friendly league. Two years ago, Our first team won the league, with our second team narrowly missing out on also being top of the table, finishing in second! Our third's had a solid season, with many convincing wins, finishing their season winning 100% of their games! This year we played one very important game (Varsity) against the University of Gloucester Women's Football club... WE WON!

Under normal circumstances, we play regular league and cup fixtures, on what we like to call Worcester Wednesday's! After games (no matter what the final score is) all members will come together, as one team, in the evening for team bonding. Even though the club has multiple teams we work together to achieve the best we can, both on and off the pitch, but ultimately to create the best atmosphere and society we can!

Our teams have an experienced and qualified coaching team, who provide sessions, as well as support at training and throughout match days. As a club, we’re happy to offer you support and information if you are wanting to excel within the sport, or are just wanting to join a recreational team to play or coach.

Whatever you need, we offer the best support we can, both as teammates or friends.

2021/2022 Season Training Times are as follows (TBC):

Monday 5-6:30 pm at St John's Astro

Tuesday 6-7 pm at St John's Astro

Friday 7:30-8:30 am at St John's Astro

We hope to see you join our football family to help us achieve even greater success this season both on and off the pitch! Be sure to drop us an email/ message with any questions you may have and follow us on all our socials!
