The Biology Society at the University of Worcester is open to everyone not just those taking a Biological Science Subject!!! We aim to prove that Biology can be fun and interesting for all.

We provide talks from lecturers and guest speakers throughout the year on a variety of topics and careers relating to all of the biological sciences. We have previosuly had talks from graduates speaking about what they are doing with their degrees from Worcester and the work they are currently part of.

We also head out on fun trips! Previously we have gone out on trips to the Sealife centre and Botanical Gardens. We are hoping to be able to go to the Sealife centre again this year but that is covid dependant. We are also planning to head out on a trip to the Medical Museums of Worcester, including The Infirmary and George Marshall Medical Museum; where university Lecturer Mike Wheeler has been a speaker! More information about these museums can be found here:

We will hopefully be putting on "mini-practical" laboratory based events consisting of Dissections, Microscopy and Histology practicals. Along with joint events with the Royal Society of Biology!
