The University of Worcester Swim Team is a team of mixed ability swimmers, ranging from competitive level swimmers to individuals wanting to participate for fitness or looking to take up the sport. Our memberships are great value and is an inclusive community.
Your first session is FREE with no obligation. You have nothing to lose!
All of our commitee are very understanding and will always try their best to help and support each individual so you can enjoy and get the most out of your experience with the swim team. We are a fun and friendly club that are welcoming to all abilities who enjoy swimming, whether that be to train and compete, to have fun and socialise with new people, improve your fitness or set yourslelf a new challenge. As a club we compete in a variety of competitions including BUC's, BUSL (British university swimming league) and varsity representing Worcester university. Our sessions are written sets with a different focus each session. Alongside this we often do relays or play a fun game of water polo at the end of the session (no prior experience needed).
Training times starting September the 15th:
Monday: 21:00-22:00 @ Kings School WR1 2LL (Arrive at the leisure centre for 20:45pm)
Tuesday: 20:00-21:00 @ Kings School WR1 2LL (Arrive at the pool for 19:45pm)
Socials start from Spetember 17th! We have socials on a Wednesday from 8pm-10:30pm at various locations, check the events page for the details of theme, time and location.
