Welcome to the inaugural Three Counties Medical School Surgical Society.
The goal of this society is to support and encourage all those interested in a career in surgery. We aim to provide talks and workshops from FY1-Consultants from around the Three Counties area to help provide an insight into the different specialities that can be pursued, as well as advice and guidance for developing a stellar portfolio upon graduation.
Throughout the academic year 2024/25 there are a variety of events we hope to hold, including:
In the future, we would also like to organise day trips to external sites with cadaver laboratories/facilities in order to develop essential surgical anatomy skills required for MRCS, FRCS, and, of course, university examinations.
We hope to make a career in surgery accessible and of interest to everyone. So come, join us!
