About Us
Professional Policing is a brand new society at the University of Worcester, who offer opportunities to anyone who wants to join, we are accessible to everyone, whether you are taking a course related to an emergency service or just have an interest. Professional Policing are really excited to be apart of the socials this year. After a great kickstart to the course that was created and brought to the University of Worcester in 22/23, we are hoping to bring and create the same atmosphere and energy and hard working ethics to the social.
Our weekly events are socials every Wednesday, where members come together to have fun away from their courses. The society embraces the idea of celebrating all achievements and continuing to be a strong, supportive network that is inclusive to all. This will be demonstrated by the team bonding that will takes place throughout the year, and will also be highlighted through a buddy scheme where the commitee and individuals from professional policing second year will have a buddy that will help support you in your univeristy journey.
Our social media is easily accessible, and the society places a high emphasis on reaching members via social media, updating everyone on upcoming socials and ensuring everyone is informed correctly of other opportunities presented to professional policing. We will also be taking part in fundraising for the social, the course (Professional Policing) and for RAG which is a university chosen charity.
Everyone is welcome to come and find out more about Professional Policing at the Professional Policing stall at the University of Worcester Sports and Societies fair.
