Welcome!
The Yoga club is a space for people of all abilities and backgrounds, whether this is your first time ever doing yoga, or if you've been pracitising for years. We provide yoga mats and blocks, so don't be put off if you don't have equipment! Our sessions are open to all, no matter what, in a calming and relaxing environment to help you find a moment of peace in the week.
What is Dru Yoga?
Together we practice Dru yoga, a form of yoga that is very beneficial for the mind and body. It focuses on gently building strength through repeated motions, and is shown to transform negative thinking. Dru yoga helps with calm and relaxation, strengthening the power of your heart, helping you to feel more connected to the earth. Our coach Vessela guides a session each week through different flows and poses, as well as guided relaxation time at the end of each session.
We practice every Wednesday at 18:00 In room 005, Thomas Telford building, St Johns Campus, pop in and give it a go!
2025/26 socials!
For the coming academic year, we will be hosting many social events and themed sessions, including Yoga in costumes, fundraisers, sober socials, and much more. Keep an eye on our page, or on our instagram to see what it is that we are doing next! If you aren't a member of the club, you can purchase a social membership from us, to just take part in our social events and sessions. We hope to see you there!
