This September, we are excited to be launching our student-led Networks. These Networks will represent the interests of students from certain groups and on the issues most important to you. We’re looking for students to take the lead and are currently recruiting Network Chairs to run each Network.
On Saturday 18th July, students from The Learning Institute’s centres in Cornwall, Devon and further afield came together online to celebrate their achievements over the last two years.

Facebook groups, status updates and Instagram Stories like these are pretty attention grabbing. However, be careful not to fall into the trap of fake or unofficial events in the run up to September. Every year, students across the country hastily buy tickets for unofficial Freshers Week’s, only to turn up to empty venues or cancelled events. Consider the current global situation and don't get caught out.
The COVID-19 outbreak may have put a temporary hold on lots of traditional volunteering activities, but there are still lots of ways that you can engage in volunteering online and from your own home, both helping and connecting with others, and finding ways spending your time meaningfully.
