Worcester Students’ Union (WSU) represents around 10,000 students (our members), studying at the University of Worcester and its partner institutions. To do this, we need to be able to involve, listen to and act upon their views and opinions.. We have a fun and hard-working team who strive to make a difference for our students.
WSU is a charitable organisation with and our mission is representing and supporting students to develop and achieve. We have had an extremely formative few years and seen student satisfaction increase significantly. In 2018, we were shortlisted for NUS Students’ Union of the Year. We are looking for someone who is organised and focused on completing tasks to help us develop a sector-leading academic representation system and democratic processes that actively engage our members.
You will work closely with our Student Engagement Manger to motivate, train and support our School and Course Reps involved in the Academic Representation system. You will help them to seek feedback from their peers, achieve positive change for their course, get involved in the Union, vote in our elections and develop new skills. You will also provide operational support for the full and part-time elected officers.
You will have strong administration and presentation skills with an eye for detail and be committed to providing a high quality experience for our students, as well as to developing your own skills and abilities.
