We are looking for someone to build our 10 Student Networks to become strong and representative communities and to drive forward our volunteering offer to enhance our members’ skills and employability.
You will want to live our values, possess a solid understanding of EDI principles, and have a desire to help students to achieve their potential. Working with our elected Officers, your key areas of responsibility will be:
- Developing our Networks to ensure they can champion equality and diversity, provide safe social spaces for students, and campaign for change (more information on our Networks can be found on our website here https://www.worcsu.com/yourvoice/networks/).
- Helping to build the volunteering offer to our members through effective community relationships and consultation with students.
- Managing our staff member who supports societies and student fundraising (Raise and Give - RAG).
- Ensuring student volunteers receive excellent training and guidance.
This is a great time to join the Union as we work to develop our new strategic plan for 2023 and beyond.
