ADAM SMYRSKI

Dear Executives, if you don't want to display your pays, Pay Yourself Less

The four simple proposals:
1. Allow everyone to pay with physical cash within canteens/restaurants
2. Allow students to rate their own landlords/real estate agents within a dedicated rating website
3. Ensure any student within mandatory unpaid placements gets paid by their own employers past 5 days
4. Ensure all university associated salaries and remunerations of all University Executives, all Heads of Academic Schools and all Governors are displayed publicly and directly within a webpage

Factbook:
1. I planned to transfer the Student Union over to City Campus, despite losing the election,
the Student Union still transferred its staff over due to popular demand.
Evidence:
Go visit the reception area of the City Campus or check the emails sent by "mail@worcsu.ukmsl.net
on behalf of Worcester Students' Union<studentsunion@worc.ac.uk>
" over at Outlook

2. The University of Worcester is currently sending nursing students into mandatory unpaid
placements with the university being paid from their work as "NHS Placement income".

3. While the specific salary and renumeration of university positions are hidden from the public,
at least for the Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive, he has the salary of £325,000 (8.8 times higher
than the median average salary of non-student staff in 2024, which is at ~£36,900), with his remuneration
instead being 7.1 times higher than the median average remuneration of non-student staff in 2024; in fact,
he was still being offered higher pays (like in 2023) until 2024 despite the university entering into deficit

since 2020/2021.
