My name is Katie Phillips. I am a third-year sports therapy student and I am an active member of the ladies rugby team. 

As President I will use my experience as a student and from being both chair and vice-chair of the ladies rugby team to support current and future students.  I will work closely with the VPSA and VPE to improve resources and access to information.  I am passionate about ensuring the mental and physical welfare of all students is prioritised and support is available to those with high placement commitments.  Working with the University, I will ensure information about the Student Union and life at Worcester is up to date, accurate and helps all students to get the most out of their time at Worcester.  

Main aims:

·         Continue to emphasise the importance of student welfare, both mental and physical.

·         Work with the University to ensure information about student life is up to date

·         Provide more opportunities for those living on city campus and in the city centre.

·         Increase events and support for students who high placement commitments.
