I am a part time student studying Forensic & Applied Biology and I have completed two terms as the Student Disability Officer. Making sure that disabled students experience the same quality of student life as their peers has been my passion for the past two years and it has been driven by what you have brought to the discussion table regarding your experience.

Together we have tackled inclusion and reasonable adjustments, compared promised words to actual actions by the University, brought issues forward that had been over looked, addressed potential projects to ensure they were fully accessible, and much more.

If I am re-elected I will:

-continue to run our beneficial Chill & Chat sessions;
-lobby the local taxi services and question their failure to accommodate power wheelchairs and assistance dogs;
-raise issues on your behalf to the SU, DDS, and University;
-set up a disAbility Society.

Together WE can get the balance right for disabled students, WE can help ensure an amazing student experience for everyone, WE can stand tall and proud of who we are!
