KATHRYN SPICKSLEY for Post-Grad Rep

I am currently studying for a PhD in Education. In past lives I have worked in University admin and as a teacher, so I bring lots of experience to the table. I was a Student Rep for Admissions and Access at my previous HE institution. I create a pretty mean PowerPoint presentation. I am an active member of the Labour Party and campaign on educational issues. I like board games, postmodernism, opportunities for democratic participation, and cats.

MANIFESTO

I will: 

• CONTINUE to GROW the great work done by previous PG Reps - like the 'Seeds of Knowledge' PG Conference 
• Investigate ways to IMPROVE the research space at Jenny Lind 
• Host MEET & GREETS for new PG students, and termly SOCIAL EVENTS
• Advertise hours when I am AVAILABLE to meet with you if you want to discuss anything 
• ADVOCATE for your PG issues at university level
