Hey, I’m Lexi. I’m a second year joint honors student who study’s Creative Digital Media & Media and Culture. I was born in Jamaica but grew in London since a young age.

I’ve always been dedicated to making a difference to young peoples lives, especially those who are disabled since I can relate. Worcester University hasn’t had an Ethnic Minority Students Officer yet and I want to be YOUR first Ethnic Minority Students Officer. I believe my experience with volunteering with different charity campaigns I can make a positive impact on students' university experience. Ensuring that  ethnic minority students adjust well to a new environment and feel included.

The vision: Educate, Empower and Engage.

• Wheel out ignorance and educate the university more about different race and culture’s.
• All race and cultures to feel valued and teach students to empower eachothers' differences
• Have a safe environment to celebrate and share out cultural activities. E.g. countries independence day.
•  Expand Ethnic Minority into a network or society where we can share and appreciate eachothers' experiences in a safe place
• Ensuring that all ethnic minority voices are heard .
