ACHIEVEMENTS
- Chaired the Mature Students, Parents and Carers Network. I support parents and carers through the lockdown. I gathered feedback, which helped with the student safety net.
- Promoted diversifying the food at university by using the Ideas Forum
- Facilitated the 'Voices of Colour' web page to promote the work of Back, Asian and Minority Ethnic students
- Working to improve the inclusivity of the university registering system!
REPRESENTATION
- Introduce better inclusion into the curriculum - Our education should reflect how diverse we are!
- Expand inclusion sessions such as LGBTQ+ awareness and basic mental health signs & signposting training for Reps, Networks and Societies.
SUPPORT
- Work to ensure that no student group feels excluded - We are a community built on supporting one another!
- Create more opportunities for peer mentoring schemes! These programs support your university experience and are great for the CV.
- Work to enhance student mental wellbeing, and support you in feeling empowered.
- Enhance the university experience for all.
- Better appreciate future critical workers.
- Support the Sustainability Department and Network in creating attainable goals.
