Committed to inclusivity, accessibility and wellbeing

Hi! My name is Molly Allsopp and I’m running for the position of Vice President Student Activities because I want to make all students as comfortable as possible and promote unity, respect and kindness.
As the current Level 6 Forensic Psychology Course Representative, I make changes to courses based on student feedback, helping me develop my passion for languages and cultures, communication skills and ability to work with others.
As a psychology student, inclusivity, accessibility and wellbeing are issues very close to my heart. Therefore, if elected I would aim to:
- Engage more students in societies and sports clubs: they are a cornerstone of the university experience, a great way to meet diverse groups of new people and improve mental health!
- Create a healthy living programme: educating students on healthy physical and emotional choices, how to be environmentally-friendly and mental health services available at the university.
- Found an LGBTQ+ Alliance: this would allow students to learn about issues the LGBTQ+ community face and how to encourage inclusivity in peer groups while providing a safe and open space for people to meet.
Thank you for reading my manifesto. Feel free to get in touch with me to ask me any questions: allm1_18@uni.worc.ac.uk
