DANIEL WILLIAMS FOR VICE PRESIDENT STUDENT ACTIVITIES

• Encourage students to join a club/society which will aid them to get the best out of their time as a student and will help them make friends for life.

• Increase the amount of student led events in the Hangar in aid of RAG with things like Quizzes, Dance Competitions & Talent Shows. I would aim to encourage a minimum of two student lead activities a month to help towards the RAG total.

• Introduce a 'Whats on' social media page which will show all the fixtures taking place during that week as well as a club of the week where the club or team with the best performance will be highlighted.

• Further the awareness of mental health issues and student wellbeing by bringing in guest speakers to speak to clubs and societies to emphasise how being active and being a part of something can have a positive effect on your mental health.

• Promote small societies to increase their number of members as there are a number of societies people don't even know about. I would do a 'Society weekly' video where I would chat to a member of a smaller society once a week and then post it on social media
