My names Tish and I would like to be your next Vice President of Student Activities because I am a kind, bubbly friendly face with a network already throughout sports and societies due to my work for the SU. Over the past year I have been chair of Pole Fitness and in that time have increased both membership and engagement with the SU. I now want to do this on a bigger scale.

If I got the role my main aims would be:

• With my marketing skills I want all clubs and societies to have more access to promotional material like photography, and video to promote their club. Including a ‘Tish’s Top Ten Photos’ which would be published each week highlighting all the great things that have been happening.
• I know finances can be hard, so finding an alternative way of payment of memberships whether through a payment plan or being able to use the Reach Scheme.
• Changing the style of TeamWorcTV to a more ‘Vlog’ style where I come as your VPSA and try out your sport and have a more informal chat.
• To put on more recreational activities that aim to include cohorts that often don’t have time due to placement to get involved with sports and societies (nursing, paramedics etc.)
• Have promotional PowerPoint slides which can be easily sent out and added to lectures at the end to promote recreational activities, events, volunteering and charity work being put to engage more student.
