NEAL MORRIS

Working Together for the University of Worcester

Neal Morris

I’m a third year Ecology and Environmental Science student who moved up to Worcestershire from the University of Hertfordshire. In the past I’ve been a voluntary business mentor, ran a social club across Yorkshire, whilst in the 90’s and 00’s I established a couple of very successful businesses. Historic? Yes, but I still have all the relevant skills to put to use for you right now!

Why Vote for Me?

Did you know that 46% of students at Worcester are now over 25? There’s an increasing cohort of mature students studying full or part time. Many in their 30’s,40’s and even 50’s. The bad news is that as far as the government are concerned, if your over 21 you are “legally” considered a mature student.

Who is looking after your interests?

I will ensure I use my office to represent the mature student body clearly, professionally and above all accurately.

What Will I do if elected?

  • Provide the correct direction for the needs and concerns of all mature students to be met
  • Ensure fair representations for the unique challenges that the University's mature students face
  • Lobby for those challenges to be listened to, acknowledged and understood at the highest levels
  • Promote and champion the contribution of the University's mature students across the campus and to Worcestershire’s wider community
  • Promote inclusion and participation across all boundaries of students, mature students, student union and university staff
