An Introduction to the Academic Representation System

Worcester Students’ Union exists to represent students’ views, making sure that your experience is the best it can be. One of the key ways we do this is through Course Reps and Department Reps who gather their fellow students’ views about various aspects of their studies and University life in general. They communicate this feedback to staff members and suggest solutions to bring about change. Their work ensures that all students can influence and shape the course they study and enhance the learning experience for current and future students.

Below is a short video on Academic Representation and how it works!

Your elected Officer Team are the primary contact within the SU for Course and Department Reps and are responsible for promoting and supporting the academic representation system.

If you have any questions email: Katie Costis (Vice President Education 2025-26)
