Houseplant Society

Love plants but can't keep a cactus alive? Same. Welcome to Houseplant Society - a friendly, low-pressure space for anyone who's ever talked to a monstera, mourned a fern, or just wants more green in their life. No green thumb required.

What we do

We run a mix of hands-on workshops and relaxed socials across the year. You'll get to paint and plant your own pot in our GIAG (Give It A Go) session, build your own terrarium, learn plant first aid for your struggling favourites, and even try your hand at plant-themed origami. There's something for every level - whether you're a seasoned propagator or you've somehow killed a snake plant (we don't judge, promise).

The social aspect

It's not all compost and misting. Our Wednesday socials are where the society really comes alive - think Greek Gods and Goddesses, dress-as-your-degree, Y2K, medieval madness, and the infamous Scribble Social. We also team up with other societies for special events, like our Plant TC workshop, and we love a good pub quiz (plant-themed, obviously).
