In this section you can find information about the Student Academic Representation (StAR)s system, how to get involved, and what your StARs can do for you!
Worcester Students' Union and the University of Worcester are committed to ensuring that all students can influence and shape the course they study and enhance the learning experience for current and future students. For this to happen, every year of every course should have at least two Student Academic Reps (StARs) elected by students to represent their views and concerns and to make suggestions about how their course might be improved.
James Gunther, your elected Vice President Education, is the primary contact within the SU for StARs and is responsible for promoting and supporting the StARs system.
James is determined to build on last year's developments and to see an increase in the numbers of StARs and an improvement in the numbers accessing training. He will be encouraging StARs to achieve accreditation for their activities and to log their volunteering hours.
