The most important event of the Students' Union calendar will soon be upon us! Worcester Students' Union Elections 2012 will be taking place between Monday 13th February, when nominations open, and culminating on Wednesday 14th March when  results will be announced.

What are the Student Elections?

This is your opportunity to vote current students into positions within the University. There are 3 full time, paid roles (President, Vice President Education and Vice President Student Experience), 6 part time officer roles (Representation, Raise and Give, Sustainability, Mature students, Diveristy and International students). The full time roles involve taking a year out during study or after studies and part time voluntary roles are carried out alongside your studies.

As students you get to vote as to who you think would be best suited in these roles and represent students to the University. This is your chance to vote for the individuals that will work on the aspects of University life that you think will benefit students.

Whether you want information on nominations, voting, candidates standing, or events you have come to the right place. All of the latest information and updates will be communicated to you via www.worcsu.com/elections and through our Facebook Group.

Last year over 1,200 of you voted, but we're aiming for an even bigger turn out this time. Get into the Elections spirit and use your Vote to reach our 1,500 voter target!

You can make a difference to the student experience by choosing to Stand for a full time or part time position, or even just by using your vote.
