Every year Worcester Go Green Week brings students, staff, and the local community together to share ways to live a sustainable life. This year's Go Green Week took place from 6th-11th February 2023 and we loved seeing you there!
 

Here is what we had going on that week!

Monday 6th February - Nature and Biodiversity
Unless otherwise stated, all sessions will be taking place in The Hangar

11.30am-2pm - Fairtrade Netball (and fairtrade chocolate)
11.45am-2.15pm - Let's Waste Less - advice on recycling, composting, and food waste
11.45am-2.15pm - Slim Your Bin - wave goodbye to single use plastic
10am-2pm - various activities throughout the day, including plant potting, building hedgehog homes, plant stall, bird drawing workshop, and more
3pm-4pm - Litter Pick - meet at the Severn Gate on St John's Campus

Tuesday 7th February - Sustainable Food
Unless otherwise stated, all sessions will be taking place in The Hangar

11.30am-2pm - Fairtrade Netball (and fairtrade chocolate)
11.30am-2.30pm - Sustainable Living Campaigns - information from SOS-UK
11.45am-2.15pm - Slim Your Bin - wave goodbye to single use plastic
11.45am-2.15pm - Let's Waste Less - advice on recycling, composting, and food waste
12pm-2pm - Simple, Affordable, and Nutritious recipes - talk and demonstration

Wednesday 8th February - Sustainable Development Goals

09.30am-10.30am - Guided Bird Walk (meet at Main Reception of St John's Campus)
14.30pm-16.00pm - Decolonise Decarbonise online workshop

Thursday 9th February - Reduce-Reuse-Recycle
Unless otherwise stated, all sessions will be taking place in The Hangar

11.30am-2pm - Fairtrade Netball (and fairtrade chocolate)
11.45am-2.15pm - Let's Waste Less - advice on recycling, composting, and food waste
12pm-2pm - various activities throughout the day, including glass cutting recycling, sustainable painting, sewing activities, and more
12pm-2pm - Uni PCSO Team - free bike security marking
12pm-2pm - Repair Cafe

Friday 10th February - Sustainable Transport
Unless otherwise stated, all sessions will be taking place in The Hangar

11:15am-12:15pm: Free Pilates Taster Session - Thomas Telford building
10am-11am - The Climate Crisis Situation in the African and Arabian Region and the Challenges of Climate Action - online event
12pm-12.45pm - Carbon Literacy - online taster sesssion
1pm-3pm - Air Quality Forum
