Welcome to Women’s Cricket!
We welcome girls of all abilities, from having never played before and willing to try a new sport, all the way to regular club and county players.
This year has been a year we have been extremely proud of, having made it to the BUCS National Indoor Finals to play against teams from all over the UK playing at the top of their game. We placed 3rd in the UK and it was definitely a day we will never forget and has driven us to step our game up once again!
We also have current links with the Worcestershire Women’s Rapids County Team, which welcome new and existing county players through trails. Of which the club's inclusivity rep, Flora Bertwistle currently represents.
Despite being a new and ever-growing sports club, we have developed a new social membership for players willing to try a new sport and become part of the family, enabling students to attend all club socials.
This year will be the first year the club has introduced outdoor training and fixtures against local clubs and universities to be held in Semester 2. Whilst entering local indoor cricket leagues in Semester 1.
Becoming part of the Women’s Cricket here at the University of Worcester, allows you to meet new people, become part of a family, learn a new sport or develop your skills and take time out of studying.
Women’s Cricket is a sport for everyone!
We welcome you to Women’s Cricket and can’t wait for you to join us for another amazing season ahead!
