We hope everyone is settling into semester two now the stress of assignments and the craziness of Refreshers Week has come to an end. And as February brings a brand new month, the Students' Union is continuing it's trend of having an awful lot of events coming up. Keep reading for a quick rundown of them all.

Looking back on Refreshers Week

Firstly, however, a quick round up of Refreshers Week is most certainly due. It was a total success and that's all down to YOU, the students. Our major events such as the Housing Fair and Refreshers saw an increased foot fall compared to previous years. It's great to see more and more students engaging with the SU; keep it up! Wednesday's Toga Night also saw a great deal of money raised which will all be going to good causes. So, on behalf of the Students' Union we would like to say thank you to the students for making Refreshers such a great event in the yearly calendar.

PUPPIES.

The Students Union will be celebrating Student Volunteering Week on 19th February. This promises to be an incredibly fun and jam packed week, ultimately aiming to engage students and get them involved in volunteering within the University and wider local community. During the week, we'll also be visited from the Guide Dogs Association, who'll be bringing a load of adorable puppies with them! Yep, you shouted about it and we most definitely heard.

A link to sign up to a ten minute slot will be shared across our social media and announced on our website very soon.
