A number of our students recently came together to mark their academic successes in a special online celebration, featuring in this editorial in the local paper.
On Saturday 18th July, students from The Learning Institute’s centres in Cornwall, Devon and further afield came together online to celebrate their achievements over the last two years. They have just completed a Foundation Degree in either Teaching and Learning or Child and Adolescent Mental Health, accredited by the University of Worcester, combining their degree with work or voluntary placements.
There was a mix of videos and live speeches, with messages from Ross Renton, Pro Vice Chancellor at the University of Worcester, Megan Price, President of Worcester Students’ Union and Nick Appleby, Director of The Learning Institute. There were also some lovely messages from students, including “I would like to thank every single tutor that we have had during the foundation degree - they have all shared various experiences with us and guided us through with enthusiasm and passion. They made the experience enjoyable and memorable and their support was unwavering.”
The Learning Institute always like to mark this occasion to acknowledge the hard work and dedication it takes to commit to a full time degree, alongside work and family life.

Congratulations to The Learning Institute Class of 2020!
