It is important that all research at the University of Worcester is conducted to the highest standards of integrity. All researchers are expected to consider the ethical implications of their research and to submit their research for ethical review as appropriate.

Failure to comply with ethical review procedures

Any student who does not gain ethical approval before undertaking research will be subject to a penalty as set out in the Procedures for Investigation of Cases of Alleged Academic Misconduct.

If a student makes a significant deviation from the approved research without being granted ethical approval for this deviation this will also be treated under the Procedures for Investigation of Cases of Alleged Academic Misconduct.
