Hello to you all!

My name is Reegan Hamilton, I am a third-year student studying sports development and coaching here at the university. Sport here at Worcester is one of the things which attracted me the most and as VPSA I would like to focus on helping not only the sports teams grow and develop but also help the societies develop too. As the game day manager for the University’s American football team, I believe I have the skills and friendly character to help push this SU to its highest potential.

What I will do if Elected:

• Help sports and societies have a bigger voice in what happens here at the university and offer more coverage of sports events/society events through social media to help them gain increased interest.
• In connection with the previous TeamWORC project, I would like to add the creation of a podcast where all areas of students will be approached to talk about university life, up and coming events, sports fixtures and much more.
• Help to create an open-door environment within the Student’s Union in which people chat about future idea/events to help raise money for charities or their own sport/society.
• To create more links with the university and outside organisations to help create more opportunities of volunteering to help students gain experience but also helping to create a unity between the SU and the students to help improve and enjoy their university life.
