VoScAs - Volunteering & Society Awards

VoScA Tickets

All society members and volunteers are able to attend the VoScAs.

Tickets are free for the event which in 2012 was held at Worcestershire County Cricket Club on Tuesday 8th May at 7pm.

Students must be a fully paid member of a society or be a current volunteer in order to attend. The Students' Union reserves the right to check volunteering roles and refuse entry.

Volunteering with Headway Worcester Trust a charity that supports people with brain injuries and their families. Volunteers help out with fundraising, events, day opportunities and the Trust's Charity Shop. Volunteering in the community in any areas. Students involved with societies such as British Red Cross, St John Ambulance and Christian Union etc are also considered under this category.

The Students' Union offers awards at three stages, for any student completing either Headway Worcester Trust volunteering or any role within the SU (including StARs and committee members):

10 hour award - Recognition of Volunteering

20 hour award - Achievement in Volunteering

50 hour award - Excellence in Volunteering

We will also award any other project you are involved with if your volunteering is logged in the v-record.
