This will help to make your CV stand out is a great talking point in interviews.  73% of employers say they would rather employ someone with voluntary experience than someone without, and many will be impressed by a volunteering award:

"The vinspired award scheme is a fantastic way of recognising, and thanking these people for getting involved and if I saw this on a CV, it would definitely jump to the top of the pile."

Students' Union Volunteering Awards Event

Students' Union Awards

The Students' Union offers awards at three stages, for any student completing either Headway Worcester Trust volunteering or any role within the SU (including StARs and committee members):

10 hour award - Recognition of Volunteering

20 hour award - Achievement in Volunteering

50 hour award - Excellence in Volunteering

We will also award any other project you are involved with if your volunteering is logged in the v-record.

Our awards are given out at our annual recognition evening which will take place in May.

How to gain your Award

In order gain a v-team award you must collect a v-record from the Students' Union Reception.

The v-record needs to be completed as fully a possible and returned to the Students' Union, who will then verify the information.

V Awards, externally provided by vinspired a national charity

The v-inspired v-fifty and v-impact awards are nationally recognised achievements which give volunteers the recognition they deserve for the work they do. They are designed to recognise and celebrate the time and effort you have invested, and to show potential employers the positive impact you’ve had on your community.
