This year's Varsity series is set to be bigger than ever before and will be staged at six different locations in Worcester, Cheltenham and Gloucester. Here's your guide to each of the Varsity 2011 venues.

The Folly, Cheltenham

The Folly is the home sports field of the University of Gloucestershire and has staged the Gloucestershire Gladiators league fixtures in this their first season of BUAFL competition.

Directions from University of Worcester; Leave Worcester on the M5 southbound towards Cheltenham. Leave the motorway at Junction 10 and then join the A4019 signposted Cheltenham. Continue straight ahead at the roundabout then take the second left onto Waterloo Street. The Folly will be straight ahead. Journey time is approximately 40 minutes.

St Georges Lane, home of Worcester City FC

Match 2 of Varsity 2011 represents the series first visit to St Georges Lane. One of the largest grounds in non-league football St Georges Lane has been the home of Worcester City since 1905. It was on the turf here that City defeated Liverpool in the 1959 FA Cup, drawing a record crowd of 17,042 to the Lane for their subsequent 4th round tie with Sheffield United. The ground today as a much reduced capacity of 4,850, but in the heart of the city it provides a great historic venue for this year's women's football Varsity fixture.

University of Worcester Sport Centre, home of Worcester Wolves

The third date of the 2011 Varsity series is played out in three sections within the excellent University of Worcester Sports Centre. The home of EBL Basketball side the Worcester Wolves, the University Sports Hall boasts a 500 capacity tiered seating which ensured a fantastic atmosphere for last year's men's basketball fixture. Badminton, Cheelreading and Dance have all now been moved to the venue to enable as many spectators as possible to enjoy these events.

Pershore Cricket Club

Pershore Cricket Club is another new venue for the Varsity series, the Worcestershire club having kindly agreed to stage this match and enable it to take place within the series. This picturesque cricket club is situated close to the town centre, it's pavilion sitting in the shadow of the church spire.

Directions from University of Worcester; Leave Worcester on the A44 heading toward Junction 7 of the M5. At the Junction go straight on onto the B4084 Pershore Road. Stay on this road into Pershore and continuing along Pershore High Street. Turn right onto Broad Street, just after the Angel Inn & Posting House. Turn left at the end of Broad Street (signposted Defford, Upton on Severn). The ground is about 200yards along on the left. Journey time is approximately 30 minutes.

Oxstalls Sports Centre, Gloucester

The £1.6million Oxstalls Sports Centre will open proceedings on the final day of the Varsity series as it plays host to fixtures both indoors and outdoors. The Mized Volleyball kicks off the events at Oxtsalls, before the competition moves outside for Ladies and Men's Hockey. Only opened three years ago this Gloucester venue has already become regarded as an excellent facility and is the home of England Badminton.

Directions from University of Worcester; Leave Worcester on the M5 southbound towards Gloucester. Leave the motorway at Junction 11 and then take the third exit at the roundabout onto the A40 signposted Gloucester. At Elm Bridge Court roundabout take the 3rd exit (signposted Longlevens) onto the B4063. After about a mile turn right into Oxstalls Lane, the Sports Centre is on your left. Journey time is approximately 45 minutes.

Kingsholm, home of Gloucester Rugby

Last but by no means least of the Varsity 2011 venues is Kingsholm, a fitting setting for the conclusion of this year’s series. The 16,500 capacity stadium is the home of Rugby Premiership side Gloucester and is widely regarded as one of the best rugby venues in the country. The home of Gloucester Rugby for 120 years Kingsholm has also staged Rugby World Cup matches in 1991 and the 2009 European Challenge Cup Final.

Directions from University of Worcester; Leave Worcester on the M5 southbound towards Gloucester. Leave the motorway at Junction 11 and then take the third exit at the roundabout onto the A40 signposted Gloucester. At Elm Bridge Court roundabout take the 4th exit (signposted Ross) onto the A40. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A38 signposted Gloucester. Head straight on at the next roundabout onto Kingsholm Road and the stadium will come into view on your left. Journey time is approximately 45 minutes.

Transport

Transport will be provided for Worcester supporters to all events in Cheltenham and Gloucester. Further details on this service will be given when available.
