Problems with University Accommodation

Prospective Students

Student Behaviour Review Board (SBRB)

The SBRB procedure covers the action that the University can take against students acting inappropriately/in breach of their halls of residence licence agreement.

The procedure should apply only to students who are living in University managed accommodation. Other behaviour issues are dealth with by the Student Code of Conduct.

What happens if I am called to a SBRB?

If an incident occurs and you are called to a SBRB the Students' Union is able to support you through the procedures. The penalty very much depends on the incident and a list of possible disciplinary actions is listed in the procedure.

If you would like support and representation at any meetings or to discuss the procedures please arrange to see the Student Advisor in the Students' Union.

Problems with University Accommodation

University of Worcester managed accommodation includes Halls of Residence (both owned and/or managed by the University) as well as managed off-campus accommodation in the local community.

The University is registered with the Student Accommodation Code (SAC) and more details can be found here www.thesac.org.uk

However, the first step in tackling issues is to use the University's Formal Complaints Procedure, for more information click here

If you have maintenance issues you should always initially log the problem on the maintenance pages found on SOLE.

Prospective Students

Prospective students should visit the University's accommodation pages to find out more about accommodation in Worcester.

However, if you would like a students' perspective on what it's like to live in Worcester's halls of residence you might like to get in touch with our Sabbatical Officers.
