Housing issues can affect every single student of the University of Worcester whether you're living in halls, private rented accommodation or own your own home.
The SAS can help you with any issues you may have with your housing. We regularly check over housing contracts, advise students their rights regarding deposit schemes and help solve landlord disputes.
We can advise regarding problems with utility companies and household bills and even how to manage your money.
There are lots of useful articles on the NUS website including advice on house hunting, deposit schemes and choosing accredited housing.
A particularly useful document in the NUS Deposit Recovery Pack which advises students step by step on how to try to reclaim three times their housing deposit if a landlord fails to protect it correctly.
