Chlamydia Screening

The Students' Union offers a free confidential Chlamydia Screening Service to all students aged under 25.

If you would like to take a screen please ask at the SU Reception for more details or speak to Kate Gynn, Student Advisor. The screens are postal kits and we do not know the results of the screen, once it has been posted sexual health professionals will contact you with the result.

Throughout the year we also run screening events with sexual health professionals in the Dive Bar. We usually offer an incentive for screens like glow in the dark condoms or shutter shades.

Earn Money For Chlamydia Screens

Chlamydia Screening can be used as a method of earning money for any SU sports team or society. We will run events throughout the year and if members of your teams or societies complete a screen they will earn £3 for their group.

If any groups are interested in organising these events please contact Kate Gynn, Student Advisor.

Jonnies from Johnny

For several years the Students' Union has been running a free, confidential condom delivery service, not just on campus but to all our students in the community and partner colleges.

For free condoms just text your details to 07804 055501
