Training and ongoing support will be provided by the Students’ Union in partnership with the University of Worcester. The University’s Academic Quality Unit has been working with the Students’ Union to develop a stronger, more effective way of ensuring that students’ voices are heard and that students are able to be genuine partners in their own learning.
The Vice President Education, as the democratically elected officer, is the key link within the Students’ Union for Student Academic Representatives, but SU staff including the Membership Services Manager and the Student Advisor will also be able to give you help, support, advice and guidance.
Student Academic Representatives who also serve on Student Council or as an Institute Representative will have additional training opportunities and support.
Training for Student Academic Reps will take place in November. Look out for dates and make sure you don't miss out. If you are unable to make these dates, there will be training sessions through the year so you will not miss out. You can email Sam Uppal, Vice President Education, at s.uppal@worc.ac.uk
