University of Worcester Rowing Club.

The University of Worcester Rowing Club is an ever growing club within Worcester Students’ Union.  We welcome any students to join our club no matter what experience or skill they have.  We are based at Worcester Rowing club which lies on the river Severn, however some training will occur at the University itself. 

Ever year we aim to bring together as many crews as possible to compete at BUSA, the British Indoor Rowing Championships, and the Welsh Indoor Rowing Championship as well as other ARA events.  It is hard work, there is no point in lying about that one, but we burn the candle at both ends and have a great social side too! 

Over the past couple of years, members of this rowing club have progressed to GB trials, Welsh trials and many more.  Anything is possible, just give it a try, if you don’t like all the training that goes with being a rower, but love water sports, you might be interested in joining our team as a cox!
