Poetry Society welcomes everyone to our creative space here at University of Worcester. We'd love to hear unique student voices and encourage artistic expression in all its forms! --
As a society, we host events such as:
- Open mics + spoken word poetry showcases...
- Sober socials, quiz nights, and games nights...
- Collage + zine-making workshops...
- Brand new + unique poetry events, such as: A Night at the Museum, Written in the Stars, Nostalgia Night, + SPEAK VOLUMES! A World Poetry Day Celebration.
...along with our weekly writing workshops for budding creatives.

Come and find out at one of our 'Give it a Go' sessions - where any student, regardless of paid membership, can come along and join the Poetry Party! -- Give it a Go season begins September 2023 - we hope to see you there. * Mon, 22nd January - POETRY POTTERY! (FREE TICKETS AVAILABLE NOW) - Decorate a plant pot with Poetry Society! - EEG021 @ St. John's Campus - 6:30pm-8:30pm // We'll supply plant pots, paints, decopague materials + relevant crafts supplies - but feel free to bring your own, too! *
