About Us

The Worcester Nigerian Society is here to create a community for all Nigerian students, help you settle in Worcester, make you feel included and represented, and share our culture with the Nigerian-British students.

We aim to provide academic mentors for you, who will guide you in your courses and tell you what to expect in the University. These mentors will share their experiences with you and give tips on having an excellent academic year. You will also have time to ask them questions and seek their advice.

Your welfare is important to us and we understand the struggle in getting accommodation and jobs. Hence, we will share our accommodation experiences with you, give you information on agencies and websites you can check with, and provide you with information on working as a student and how you can access several opportunities.

Entertainment, sports, and inspirational events are also going to form part of your stay at the University and Worcester as a whole and we intend to make it worthwhile.

If you need to speak with any of the committee members, please message us on our Instagram page Worc Nigerian Society (@worcnigeriansociety) or send an email to worcnigeriansociety@outlook.com and we can assist with your query.

Welcome on board. This is our home away from home.
